Guys Travis sucks because he sounds like Kanye wait no he sounds like future wait no he sounds like Cudi wait no he sounds like a soundcloud rapper wait no let's just keep throwing s--- at the wall and see what sticks

For the record, QP2 and, to a degree, Bacc, are certainly heavily inspired by Future, and BMSOY along with Travis' moan-singing on Skyfall are very reminiscent of Cudi, but as I've said countless times to people who never can come up with a reply, show me who could nake Meadow Creek/Naked/The Prayer etc etc

It's trendy to hate on Travis is all, it doesn't bother me because not one legitimate complaint has ever been backed up with facts by anyone who dislikes him

He sounds like all these ppl tho, it's not because it's trendy... it's because the first time I listened to Days Before Rodeo i questioned whether or not he was literally trying to sound like a different, specific artist on almost every song, purposely. And ya to say QP2 is "inspired" by Future would be an understatement, it's a Future hook.

Barring BMSOY, QP2, and Sloppy Toppy, he doesn't sound like any of the artists mentioned.

Also for the record I was being facetious, but you can't deny that if you were to describe him for the first time to someone, saying he's a cross between Wayne and Future is a good way to give them an idea of what to expect

You're saying no1s backing up their claims. Well, if people wanted to make that argument about Thug -- you could easily argue it with extensive proof as Ive done in the past.

You can't, or at least haven't, with Travis yet. You instead try to give Travis credit for the FEW times he DOESNT sound like someone else lol.

Ive never even once discredited Travis for "biting" btw. That doesnt really matter to me as long as the musics good, which it is a good amount of the time. I just like to see you deny his influences/how he's being marketed.

That awkward moment when every time you bash on Travis and I ask you who he's aping on meadow creek/naked/the prayer etc I never get a response

I went to the actual Travis show and there were a lot of normal a--- dudes, and 1 in 10 people were like "I'm only here for thug" and they were the ones who bought the new yeezys and wore jackets a ktt user would think is cool and dye blonde streaks through their hair and wear nose rings etc etc typical hypebeasts. I'm going off of actual personal accounts here

But I'm not denying his influences. It's just that I've never cared enough to type out my exact thoughts because it's always either u and Taylor rustling my jimmies or people who genuinely refuse to give Travis any credit

I think Travis is someone who still needs to find himself and quit aping other times (meaning I acknowledge the truth behind the hate) but the amount of biting is exaggerated x1000. 1/4 of his s--- sounds like biting, 1/4 is actually pretty unique, and half is just standard levels of imagination meaning nothing groundbreaking but i enjoy it nonetheless

Travis is just someone whom I have no interest in talking about on forums because he isn't quite the best at anything and he's one of those artists you just like, and people who don't like him can never seem to grasp why and just ask why don't you listen to Cudi or fewch etc whenever he takes those styles, melds them, and runs with them while making music that I just so happen to vibe with. He's my favorite artist but he's no legend by any stretch of the imagination. I legitimately feel like Rodeo could change that but for now he's just a personal favorite and that's it

Btw @WPG maybe in general his fans are hype beasts i wouldn't know but I live in Houston and everyone I know at least f---s with him casually and I don't associate myself with hipster hypebeast types
