Good choice. To my knowledge there aren't any australian killer animals in house pools. Though I have heard that in shittier, hotter, deadlier parts of australia (Cairns) the Crocodiles will often go for a swim in house pools after eating the household pet.

@Jakey you gotta watch out for the melbourne beggars, they are f-----. spent a couple nights there a few months back...
a buddhist monk walks up to dad and starts giving him this whole "u will find happiness my fren " after a minute of this, he hands dad a prayer card and said "ill give you this prayer card for good wishes "
were like "ye alroight m8" and start to walk away... This guy chases dad down and is like "oh wait my fren the prayer card cost money. you give?"
dad turns around and says "if you want anything for this piece of s--- card i don't want it" and handed it back to him.

an hour later i'm walking along the city streets
RKO OUTTA NOWHERE! this 80 yr old gypsy/jew lady grabs my arm and is like "scuse me young child " (i'm 22, not short and have a beard wtf@child?) after the split second reaction of "who the f--- just touched me!?" I realize "oh s--- shes just an old lady"
So I'm like "oh hi, hows it going?" and shes replies with
"ohhhh hello. am sorry to disturb you but i am needing some help. Will a strong man like you help me?" (now i'm a man again, wtf?)
at this point I'm like oh okay she just needs help carrying her groceries to her room or some s---.
I say "yeah no worries what did you need a hand with?"
"can i hev some of yor money?"
what. the. f---.
she wasn't homeless, she was one of those classy pensioners who have rings and necklaces and make-up all over and alright looking clothes. She didn't smell like s---, well she did, but not literal s---. She stank of perfume.
So I did the most reasonable thing, looked her dead inthe eyes and said "nah" and walked away.

Usually try to be polite to beggers, but one time i had a guy who tried to force me to go to an ATM and get money out for him. Had to tell him to f--- off, the guy was a complete wanker.
