    Yeah i been saying this for a few years to my mates, its the only way ill ever be back to full movement in it, You'd think with the way technology is going in years down the track they will be able to do this type of s---.

    What did you do to your foot anyway? i go to the specialist next week and hopefully get out of the cast and get a moon boot.

    Definitely, forget the fact we already had the means for hip and knee replacements, they are now doing surgeries with 3D printed vertebrae and prosthetic limbs are coming along amazingly in terms of movement and touch. I have faith.

    I hope your appointment goes well, it's such a long healing process all you can do is take it one step at a time and keep trying the next thing to help it get better.

    Mine is an old injury that I flared up again. Old injury done 7 - 8 years ago, skipping, came down on uneven ground and fractured my ankle. Then last year I got my running distance up to 15km but I think it must have been too much for my body. After MRIs it's come back that I have thin ligaments on one side, weak ligaments on the other and a stress related injury on my talus. Had a steroid injury on it the other week but it didn't help, actually has made it feel worse =(

    Yeah the best thing about moon boots is you can take them off for a shower instead of putting a f---ing garbage bag around your leg haha, well i cant put weight on it for another five weeks apparently but ill find out more next week fingers crossed its healing well.

    shiit that sucks ay, yeah this time all i did was walk a bit of un even ground and it went the wrong way, it doesnt take much especially coz of the first time i fractured it 5 years ago it still hadn't healed properly so it was already a bit weak. the orthapaedic guy reccomends an ankle fusion but i dont want to go down that route just yet.

    Ooh d--- dude, that must be really frustrating for it to happen over something so simple. I dont blame you for not wanting to do the surgery, especially while you are young, there is a trust and faith in the body to be able to mend itself before taking such drastic measures. It's just such a s-----y place to be injured as you always have to be on your feet at some point or another and not able to just let it sit and properly rest.



    No, I hadn't heard anything either, I imagine the gov would like to keep it on the DL, hence why those that do know need to spread the word.

    Didn't get a job yesterday cos i was told i "didn't sell myself"

    I told them i har 4 years experience doing basically the exact same s--- the job is, worked every shift and dealt with every type of customer... dunno how that isn't selling myself

    Got out of my cast on monday and am now rocking the ever fashionable moon boot, my bung leg is just about half the size of my healthy leg too. Its crazy how much muscle definition you lose in just a few weeks
