    I went to NZ in 2000 as well. Good old Auckland with it's cute little sky city.

    I remember the 2000 Olympics were on TV and s---. Trippy. They had Burger Kings there as well.

    Seriously though, I actually went to a couple games (basketball and some track events) with my parents (they told me about the ticket system)

    -brb getting second job to cover books and tuition cause I only get half financial aid and parents didn't save up

    -brb school and two jobs

    -brb going to city school cause more affordable tuition so I gotta drive 22 miles everyday to get to school

    -brb worked too much so now financial aid revoked and have to put all tuition on credit cards

    -brb 5000 loan from fist year of college on top of credit cards

    It's not that bad, sure you acquire a little debt but it's not too much if you do well considering you'll be getting a real job after.

    It's just a crappy situation to be in for a few years

    That's not too bad, I'll probably graduate with 20k debt max if worse comes to worse. Over here we have 10 years to pay them off, how does it work over there?

    yeah similar process, we get a few years to pay them off, but yeah i will probably end up with 30k debt :/
