    Love how half this thread is filled with people basically bitching about Trump.

    Trump fans have no safe place to go. We can't discuss him without being insulted at every turn. 2014-onward has become a bully fest. Either you agree with the media or you're a bigot.

    He's a really, really unintelligent person. There's just no way around it. He infamously doesn't read. He watches daytime news crap. He knows like 5 adjectives. He can't sign his own name. It's incredible.

    The failing New York Times admitted to being fake news after the election and promised to be better. However, they have since doubled down on their false and uncorroborated stories. Sad! So much speculations out to make us look unorganized. No one cared when Obama reached out to Iran before becoming president.

    TBH I think this was a constructive talk. Lamont further cemented himself as a total lightweight while @Coco confessed to liking Obama before getting himself thread banned.

    It's such a cliche to do this false equivalency bs to normalize Trump's mistakes. Two wrongs don't make a right yada yada yada. I've watched people I respect want to appear objective by doing this over and over again. They're almost afraid to call out one side without bring up the other no matter the difference in amplitude of the issues. Hopefully the Trump presidency inspires institutional skepticism beyond partisanship.

    Not to say US military interventionism hasn't been a hotly disputed topic since... Vietnam?
