this is just silly, it's a matter of your opinion; there's no public record of him treating another race inferior.

of the 7 countries in the suggested ban, 0 of them committed terrorist attacks on US soil. But there's been people arrested from those countries, trying to get into America with the intention of carrying out terrorist attacks.

Everything is racist these days. ridiculous. for whatever reason, those 7 countries were seen as a threat... perhaps James 'MadDog' Mattis got in Trumps ear saying that the people he fought in those countries "weren't actually people". We don't know. Like if Trump is a racist, he's pretty picky, he's ok with 45+ muslim countries but just 7 he has a problem with lol. Like straight up, to anyone who thinks he's a racist, what race exactly does he a have a problem with? because i hear everyday he's a racist, but nobody ever says which race it is he has a problem with/treats poorly.

Not sure on the relevancy of this tbh. but I don't keep up to date much with the conflict in the middle east because it's something new everyday. But as far as I know, Iraqi, kurdish and ISIS forces are currently fighting for control of Mosul.

No it's partly Australians fault. we have this joke where we just say "f--- off we're full" because about 80% of our country is undeveloped barren wasteland that nobody goes to and the government doesn't want to do s--- with (likely because "muh abos sacred land" similar to native Americans in your country)

Trump is clearly a racist regardless of him having like, 3 black (celebrity) friends. Like-- so what? He has a record of discrimination and ran on racism. Birtherism is racist. Going after the Central Park five was racist too. Whether the ban is explicitly racist is just semantics - it's bad policy and unamerican.

Also @Coco yeah targeted military strikes aren't great but I felt a lot more comfortable w Obama and his tacticians in charge than a narcissist reality tv star. It's not mutually exclusive frankly.

Nah I wasn't really talking about the 7 country ban. That's just an example of how Syrians and Iraqis don't seem to assimilate that well in Germany. Mind you, Germany is not the US.

If you want my opinion of the ban, I don't agree with it really. In general Muslims tend to assimilate very well in America, much better than they do in European countries. We seem to have a very effective vetting system compared to Europe. The ban wasn't done correctly. He's not really targeting the right countries if he wants to target the ones that breed Islamic terrorism. he should go after Pakistan, Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, etc. It should extend to countries that actually have a record of committing terrorist attacks on US soil. I think we should be more scrupulous when it comes to vetting the people that we let in from Islamic countries, but the ban wasn't done right. I don't mind the Syrian ban because ISIS has said they will infiltrate the refugee program, ISIS can very easily forge passports and this is something that Assad also mentioned in this interview
