I know enough. Powers of deduction. I understand people have different vantage points -- I literally do this for a living lol.

And yet, it's important to differentiate between people who are earnestly conservative/Republican, and those who are... stupid. Or racist. Or just trolling. It's not a binary thing right?

But you're right - Perry said "consumed with hate". Like... am I? Or do I think trump is uniquely unfit for office, and his record/actions are clearly demonstrating that.

@Perry The Platypus I think it's perfectly reasonable to see all the shitstorm flying around and - as a conservative - be like, hey wait a second.... this is rly bad? And - in some cases - NOT "conservative" whatsoever lol. But you won't be honest... because you don't actually know... thus therefore i.e. your opinion is unserious and bad. check!

basically this. smugly talking about how "liberals lost" and cheering on trump is just a sign of stupidity. most of the conservatives i know and consider smart are very alarmed by him. that doesn't mean they're having a crisis of confidence and thinking of donating to cory booker--they're just aware enough to know this is historically bad.

Anyone who thinks Trump is a Conservative is a definite novice of politics.

The Conservative Movement burnt out with Ted Cruz a foriegn born ideolog just missing the Republican nomination.

The Republicans are Trump's party now and shouldn't be considered Conservative.

So is it worth getting this angry over different views? I don't subscribe to that, but you do you. I've accepted that folks will have different opinions at the end of the day.

As far as Trump supporters vs actual conservatives, yeh there's a clear difference and I always said that Trumpism is not conservatism.. I would say the same thing for Clinton supporters vs actual progressives.

Yeah you can make the case that Trump is incompetent, you can attack his policies etc, but you start to lose the plot when you go for the personal attacks. It's easy enough to dismantle Trump's policies, no need to go for the personal attacks when you could very well be wrong about an anonymous poster on the internet. But, again, you do you.

The list is surprising...

Can't believe there are a lot of people who think that preventing diversity is better than dropping bombs and making people gain PTSD (not to say that's better, but America has the most diverse people around, you can't take that away), can't believe that people are ignoring the fact that a vaccine skeptic is on the cabinet (I would say overtime pay but I don't know, maybe the price of living will go down if people don't build more luxury highrises) and I can't believe that he's corrupting the most innocent of people by focusing on "private servers". Hillary was untrustworthy and she should of had someone else run for president but at least she would of had good picks for the Cabinet.

Maybe Trump will turn out good for this country; his tax code seems decent enough but all I know is that Trump is for the rich, Trump doesn't care about you and is going to take this country to the shitter. Obama has already done much of his work for him seeing as how the stuff he did is now popping up. I don't really believe the 180 that rappers are promoting because it completely glosses over everything.
