    Trump would not be pushing this issue so hard if he was succeeding in any other way as a president. Kinda sad to see his followers fall for this time after time cuz I I don't wanna say his supporters are inherently stupid but this makes you wonder.

    p.s. Not American(Indigenous person of "Canada") but I have not stood for the Canadian anthem since I was in early high school( caught a lot of flack but all my friends and my mom understood that I was not gonna stand for a song that implicitly supports the genocide of my people).

    1. Signing a contract to work for someone isn't signing away your rights to them, thats slavery
    2. Well yeah but don't see why thats a point
    3. They're both arbitrary to the main goal, the goal of school is to teach saying the pledge every morning is unnecessary, especially since they don't teach you why you should say it or give you a choice, although most teachers dont give af. The goal of the NFL is to play football, they make money off ads and fans watching, they give a check to the players. Saying the national anthem, sitting during it, or standing really has no affect on the overall goal and has nothing to do with the game other than its tradition to do it.

    Pretty sure attendance and ratings aren't way down anyways, at least not compared to last year.

    It's just Trump's usual comeback when he doesn't like something or someone, for him to say it's a failing business or whatever.
