    it's the obvious natural assumption.

    if he had nothing to hide, then he gains by releasing -- looks like a good guy.
    if he has something to hide, then he gains by not releasing only if what he's hiding is worse than the blowback he's getting by not releasing.

    that's simple.

    Trump was winning as far as appeal goes in the beginning imo, Hillary is starting to pick up. She needs to emphasize how much of a fake, fraud, liar, and general cocksplat he truly is. She can't come across as... well regular Hillary. She can't seem political; that will be the end of her campaign with this debate.
