Mar 20, 2018 I think the reason why you can't 1-on-1 equate racists to say a drug abuser / criminal is because racism works more subversively against a certain group of people and enduring. It's mostly based on an untransparent social network or system of control placed in society to subdue a significant portion of the non-white populace, whereas a criminal is still bad but only affects one, two or a dozen people, regardless of color. A racist is a crucial component and gear in the system of White Supremacy in white societies because it functions as one link in the chain of gears of this system's engine and which is meant to keep other people in "their obedient place" and it shuns opposing views and different thinking people (that see white supremacy as the biggest problem of society) away from expressing said beliefs and antagonizes them by means of outrage and more vile (verbal) attacks. The point of what Enigma is saying and of other people who are the victims of this social virus is to be very strict and vocal against it and deconstruct the minds of people raised in racism. Lock a criminal up and rehabilitate him and you're done. Lock a racist up and rehabilitate him and you'd still have 99% of the network intact.
