Jun 25, 2016 Are you serious? We're talking about being president of the United States here and you don't think having some sort of experience holding public office is important? Even if her name did help (it certainly wasn't the sole reason) she was like liked by her constituents/the American public. She had a high approval ratings when she was both senator of New York and Secretary of State. Not to mention her educational background, getting a law degree from Yal law school and becoming one of the best lawyers in the country.
