Aug 11, 2016 ^ What, imagine watching Mr. Robot and expecting them to not do outside the box things. This episode might be one of the best episodes of a tv show I've ever seen. Just amazing amazing 4th wall breaking, the reconciliation. This show is in my all time already, I just can't believe how much they pushed the envelope tonight. This is like episode 8 of True Detective S1, The leftovers season 2 finale. just an amazing amazing episode
Aug 11, 2016 I'm not sure what to think about tonight's episode. A rewatch may help me decide. I felt like the sitcom s--- dragged on a little bit but I understand what they were doing. This episode was alright, but it really dragged with moving the plot forward. I didn't hate it, but I wouldn't rate it as high as the rest of the season. Like I said, this is after my first watch. MR is so deep that sometimes it takes quite a few watches to see something buried deep within.
Aug 11, 2016 referencing True Detective and the questioning my tv opinions. Best episodes lol im dying
Aug 12, 2016 I still can't believe that we're halfway into the season and Tyrell has only physically appeared once, and it was in a lucid dream/vision Elliot was experiencing to keep him away from the beating he was taking.
Aug 12, 2016 90s sitcom beginning threw me off a lil but i liked it. shook things up. had more humor than usual (gideon getting smashed by the car was f---ing great) which i def enjoyed, breath of fresh air after these past few eps. But i do agree with what the Prison Mike guy said above in that it kinda dragged the plot progression out. honestly i feel that way about the whole episode. rly wanted more to happen. am kinda in the middle with this episode, didnt love it or hate it. I'm thinkin its all a buildup for whats to come with the next episode. Am hyped for it
Aug 12, 2016 random af but i rly want some circumstance/new plotline to come up that draws Elliot towards Fernando & leads to some sort of confrontation. bugs me that he got away & is still alive after what was done in S1, & that its basically just in the past now forgotten about.
Aug 13, 2016 Even though he's responsible for one of the most tragic scenes in the show, I still love his character. Even though he had to teach Elliot a lesson for getting him locked up, he still showed such an admiration for Elliot. And could've easily killed Elliot, but murdered his own Brother in front of him, just to illustrate where his loyalties lie. I really hope he pops up again. Maybe Elliot could extract revenge, or Fernando may end up being a necessary ally. Who knows. I know it's takin' forever to bring Tyrell back. I still don't know what role the guy she had killed was playing. Anybody have an idea what he was doing for her, it must've been important to k--- him.
Aug 15, 2016 I've been watching Mr. Robot, too, and I am a huge fan! Last week's episode was totally unexpected - I was like WTH am I watching?! And seeing ALF and everything :D Overall I really enjoyed the episode because it brought some awesome hacking, we got to see the badass Darlene one more time... I also was quite taken with the story with Mr. Robot, or more likely it was Elliot's dad this time! If you wanna know more about the hack stuff, have a look at this: http://sensorstechforum.com/mr-robot-season-2-hacks-exploits-masterslave-rubber-ducky/ and this: http://www.theverge.com/2016/8/10/12432630/mr-robot-hack-report-s2e4-master-slave Peace out! X.
Aug 17, 2016 started watching last week, i'm finally caught up now and holy s--- does this show make my d-ck hard
Aug 17, 2016 season 2 been moving at probably a slower pace than the first imo but i almost felt like the entire show was leading up to that whole adderall scene f---ing 11/10 also had no f---ing idea joey bada$$ could act
Aug 17, 2016 tbh it threw me off a little at first. i liked it overall but it could've ended a bit sooner
Aug 17, 2016 the f---ing vomit scene was 11/10 absolutely but when he stopped and then ate the adderall out the vomit that s--- was an automatic 12/10 scene g.d. also since i didn't get to talk about it but when we found out mr robot wasn't real that s--- had me like d---. straight fight club s--- but it still didn't feel too too rehashed
Aug 17, 2016 The end of tonight's episode Literally did not think this show could ever throw a curveball like season 1 again... And they just completely got me. I'm shocked. Whole show done changed up. Brazy
Aug 18, 2016 A lot of people predicted the prison twist. I'm still glad it panned out, and that they got it out of the way rather than dragging it on the rest of the season. Tyrell's fate is still a mystery, Mr. Robot is an extension of Elliot, therefore he is just as unreliable lol. The scene where those guys confronted Elliot and were about to r--- him, that was spectacular. From Mr. Robot taking the punches, to Leon coming in and giving each of them a quit murking, before rtevealing that Whiterose sent him to watch over Elliot this whole time. I thought that whole segment was amazing. Angela is a decent enough character, but I doubt she could be any more transparent if she actually tried. TBH though, none of these characters' stories are anywhere near as intriguing as Elliot's to me. I don't know if I'm alone in that, but I doubt it. Glad to see Rami Malek is up for an Emmy for his performance, and I hope he wins it. Tonight's episode easily trumped last week's IMO.
