That movie dove off a cliff as soon as DiCaprio and Waltz died. Further proof he was lame. It's like Tarantino tacked 30 minutes on to the logical ending all so he could get a shot of somebody's feet and say the N word a couple times.

Films like this should be left to someone like Bennet Miller. Scorsese's style of late doesn't seem to lend itself to what should be a more down to earth biopic than something like Wolf is, and another boxing movie in the vein of Raging Bull doesn't really make sense. Even The Aviator has a lot of his trademark exuberance that I wouldn't expect to work with someone like Tyson.

Ehhh

Only other third third act from Tarantino I have a problem with is Death Proof's. Rest of his ending's seem to happen when they should.

Not sure if partially directed @ me, but if it was that wasn't my intention at all. Scorsese is my favorite filmmaker of all time. The announcement gave me the impression that someone had faith in Winter following the success of Wolf but they needed to attach a more credible name, almost like a co-sign, because Scorsese was partial to the success of Wolf (which was written by Terrence intentionally in the style of Casino/Goodfellas.)

For some reason (lol) Scorsese doesn't strike me as a guy who studios can call up and have him direct a film whenever somebody wants to give a writer a chance.

But I'm with you, this entire film even being talked about is odd to me.

Man, I never pictured Scorsese doing a project on Mike Tyson, especially at this stage of his career. Definitely comes as a surprise to me. Can't say I'm super excited about this, but I will definitely watch it

I know it's only in it's early stages, but I was just curious of what everyone thinks about Jamie Foxx playing Tyson in the upcoming biopic. Personally I think it's a terrible choice, I cannot picture Foxx as Tyson at all. I reckon 50 Cent wouldn't be a bad choice for the role. He's big and solid like him, talks a bit like him and Tyson looked a fair bit like 50 when he was younger. His acting is questionable though. Thoughts?
