Dec 14, 2014 As much as i would love to see DC beat the f--- out of JBJ i fear Jones will win again and dominate him. Probably win via TKO with elbows or submit him. Their hatred isn't fake, they f---ing hate eachother.
Dec 14, 2014 DC's got a chance if he can get close. He's short, and Jones already has a mega reach advantage over everyone. But if DC can get close, utilize the clinch and take it to the ground he's got a shot. The only issue is being in that clinch Jones is going to throw short elbows and hurt DC, he's not going to stand there like a human pylon and take body shots (Frank Mir, Roy Nelson). DC's got a chance but I'd go with Jones. To hype it a little....
Dec 14, 2014 The only way I see DC beating JBJ is if he can consistently take him down. But in order to take him down he'll have to use the clinch and like you said he'll eat those short elbows which are very dangerous. I really wish JBJ would just move to HW where he belongs lol so many good fights in that division for him that are closer.
Dec 15, 2014 Cormier's striking is underrated as well plus Jones will be expecting the TD which he really hasnt had to deal with in a lot of his fights, that will open things up a little more for DC.

Dec 24, 2014 DC is about 10X better then Rashad though, which is why Jones is only a slight favorite. I still think he wins but DC is his toughest fight by a long stretch. The Gus fight might end up being closer, but nobody gave Gus a shot going in so on paper this is definitely his toughest test.
Dec 24, 2014 Cormier's closes distances really well so I'm actually starting to second guess my Jones win prediction now. I mean, he basically only has to grab him without getting caught clean on the way in. I feel like Jones might be a bit more cautious with throwing his limbs out like that to be caught compared to usual, and there's only so much cage he can back around in. This fight cant disappoint me however it ends tbh.

Dec 30, 2014 Horiguchi is legit. Probably the most exciting guy to watch in the division next to Dodson, he should steam roll Gaudinot though. And will probably be one solid win away from a title shot. Anyone else think its kinda lame of Jones to talk down on Hendo? ive seen him call him 50 years old in one interview and 60 in another, trying to discredit DC's win over him. Dont get me wrong Hendo is a shell of himself now but dont act like he didnt run through guys like TRT Bigfoot, Barnett, Mir and Roy.
Dec 30, 2014 Little Fat Cormier ain't gonna do s--- to Bones! On a serious note though, this fight is going to be crazy. I don't know who I dislike more though, cause I don't think I've ever warmed up to DC, but then again I hated Pettis for a long time, for no reason. I think DC being terrible on FOX is what makes me not really care for him, but he is a great fighter, no denying that. I can't see either guy making a mistake cause they both seem pretty methodical about fighting, and DC wont be doing no spinning jump kicks at Jones, I think he'll be faking the take down and looking to catch Jones with a haymaker. Jones will likely try to keep him at distance and job him, and once (if) he feels that he is more powerful possibly clinch on the fence and look for elbows. We'll find out soon.
