    they had no other card to put them on. They had visa issues so they couldn't have them in the United States and this card was in Brazil. It was here or no where.

    put them on the fs1 prelims? or the fight pass prelims...

    but if they turn out to be good i guess it wont matter

    You can't put the TUF Finals on Fight Pass and tier was no room on the FS1 prelims.

    PPV should be reserved for elite mma... not regional level guys

    If It was your normal 5 fight PPV I would care but they literally made it a 7 fight PPV because the Machida/Romero card moved from Brazil to Florida last minute and that lead to all the visa issues. Obviously it's not something the UFC normally does, but you can't headline the FS1 prelims with these fights because nobody knows them.

    i would have made them the first two fights on fs1, and I would have bumped Maia Magney to ppv, Fejao cumins fs1 main event and dropped one of the other fights to fight pass.

    on a side note mike goldberg really has to stop saying "so you want to be an ultimate fighter" it was cheesy the first time 10 years ago and even worse now.

    Ya Warlley Alves is a TUF winner/great prospect and Alcantara is a ranked BW though. Hester/Miranda on Fight Pass was already a stretch.

    Shogun/Lil Nog will be good. But it's mostly a card filled with past their prime Brazilian legends. Rousey by herself is selling the card though.
