Sep 28, 2016 ^Thanks man, hyped as f---. Haven't yet decided if I'll get there in time for the fight pass prelims or not but maybe, it'd be like a 6 hour event if I do that.
Sep 28, 2016 I would get there in time to see the Marquardt/McCrory fight, that should happen around 8:30 ET/5:30 PT.
Sep 28, 2016 Alright thanks for the tip, should definitely be able to get there by then. Who you guys got for the main event? Seems like a really tough call based off what I've read and seen. Can't see it getting past the 2nd round but I'd love if it did.
Sep 29, 2016 So hard to predict. I'm rooting for Dodson but wouldn't be surprised if Lineker takes it
Sep 30, 2016 Alex Oliveira weighed in at 161.5, 5.5 LBS over and Hacran Dias weighed in at 148.5, 2.5 LBS over. Both forfeit 20% of their show money to their opponents.
Oct 1, 2016 Leaving pretty soon already, should be in the arena bout halfway through the fight pass prelims.
Oct 1, 2016 first time Lineker has missed weight at 135 tho.... pretty sure the only other person to miss weight in two divisions is Rumble. Jealous @Kon have fun man. Kinda wish they waited a month for this card as I'll be going through Oregon then and would've gotten tickets
Oct 2, 2016 I scored it Dodson. I thought it was pretty clear that he dictated the terms of the fight and when Lineker did manage to corner him, he gave as good as he got. Might have been a different story if Lineker started working the body earlier. It kind if goes against the grain to say the mobile, evasive fighter landed the cleaner, more impactful shots, but that's what I saw happening. Really surprised by those cards and the scoring controversy in general.
Oct 2, 2016 UFC live was a lot more fun than I expected, really fun night. I was glad Linekar won cuz Dodson was just dodging half the fight, Linekar gained the crowd's support after the 2nd round when they turned on Dodson for not being aggressive. Lot of fun fights and some unexpected results, definitely hope I can go to another UFC event sometime. I could see basically 90% of the action real good, 10% on the ground was tough to see. 4th row ringside, great spot.
Oct 2, 2016 The one night I actually get 1st place on DraftKings, it's a small game. Oh well, won $15 lol
Oct 2, 2016 I can't stand Will Brooks but Cowboy Oliveira can s--- my balls. f--- that guy. I had Lineker clear 3-2, almost 4-1. Round 1 was a pretty close toss-up with Lineker the aggressor but really finding his range more than anything while Dodson pot-shotted likely to a 10-9. 2 3 and 4 were all Lineker... I felt like they both landed pretty evenly, but it seemed like Lineker's shots just had more to them. Plus the aggression/octagon control can't be ignored. Rd 5 Dodson, Lineker started fading. Awesome fight that I really wish I could've seen live
Oct 2, 2016 I get why the crowd was booing at times, they were mad at Dodson for his running, but still it was a great fight. Live crowds tend to get a bit impatient I suppose, Linekar was definitely trying to land shots more than Dodson was.
Oct 3, 2016 Main Event was great, I had Lineker taking it though for sure. Lot of surprising outcomes on the Main card especially. I thought Dodson, Brooks, Burkmann and Smolka would all win and that Dias would beat Fili. Lot of options at BW. Think Cruz or Garbandt get title shots and then guys like Lineker, Caraway and Rivera who should all be looking at a Title shot with 1 more win.
