Jan 18, 2016 I can't believe that b--- and Dillashaw could have such a perfect gameplan for Barao and misread Cruz this badly. You don't bullrush a matador. Leg kicks were an obvious tool against a fighter with a bum acl who relies on movement. Playing into his game was hubris. He adapted in the championship rounds but too little, too late.

Jan 18, 2016 Hopefully it was Cruz's foot and not his leg that was injured. I would love to see a rematch, but I don't really think it calls for one. Dillashaw hasn't been champ long enough to justify it.

Urijah Faber - Coming off a win against #13th ranked Frankie Saenz. Trilogy fight with Cruz? 4. Raphael Assuncao - Hasn't fought since October 2014 due to injuries. 5. Aljamain Sterling - Free agent, beat #9 and #10 in last 2. Undefeated. 6. Michael McDonald - Didn't look the best in his comeback fight. Fought once in 2 years. 7. Thomas Almedia - Undefeated. 21-0 Haven't beat anyone notable. 8. Bryan Caraway - Won 2 of his last 3. Lost to Raphael Assuncao. Accused of ducking fights. 9. Takeya Mizugaki - Lost 2 of his last 3. Lost to Sterling and Cruz. 10. Johnny Eduardo - Just lost to Aljamain Sterling. Only options I see is Dillashaw or Faber. But I'd rather see those 2 fight.
Jan 18, 2016 Good argument. What a s--- division. If Cruz's foot is messed up then Dillashaw vs. Faber to decide his next fight would work. If not then Cruz-Dillashaw 2 and Barao-Faber 2.
Jan 18, 2016 It's actually really not a s--- division. Cruz, Dillashaw, Faber, Barao & Assuncao is a great top 5 that matches up with most divisions in the UFC. The rest of the division is filled with great prospects. Cruz vs Faber 3 Dillashaw vs Assuncao 2 Sterling vs Caraway Almeida vs Mizugaki I'm more excited about this division that I've ever been.
