she hasn't really beaten anyone. she beat Maryna Moroz but other than that she hasn't had one good win. actually fought for the title too. the women's divisions are still lacking big time. they'll likely grow at a rapid pace over the next decade.

Letouneau is meh, im sure she'll be fed to the winner of PVZ/Karate Hottie next Saturday to keep one of their hype trains going (Waterson's most likely).

Edit: didn't stick around for the decision, thought she won lol guess not.

Rogan is a f---ing idiot. Talking up Dober's striking while he's getting picked apart by the jab, nose all bloody, then when he gets caught hard Joe pretends like it was a one off out of nowhere. Can't wait until he retires. He's too stuck in his own narratives.

Make no mistake, I'm not calling her a beast or anything. Just happy she didn't get retired this fight after that awful cut and the way Joanna hurt her so bad. Not in the mood to see another Miesha.

oh yeah I know I just picked my moment to say it.

JJ is in the right place at the right time a little. She's obviously very good but the competition is quite hit and miss. I just wouldn't compare her to other dominant champions like others often do. If she can beat Andrade, Claudia again, and another solid contender I'll shut up tho. Nonetheless, her variety of muay thai attacks are great to watch.

She's already beat Claudia twice. Lots of champs never beat their #1 contender multiple times. Andrade has a good shot at beating her, but again that's just pointing to some parity at the top of the division. Those 3 alone make it on par with anything above welterweight and yet they have lots of younger talent as well. It's a top 5 weightclass.

I don't think the division is on par with MW but other than that I probably agree. The kind of threats Jones is dealing with in guys like Rampage, Evans, Lyoto, Glover etc are much more of a threat than most of the girls JJ is fighting tho. She's a much better technical striker than all the girls she's facing and doesn't have to worry about power either.

Just using it as an example to show the difference between SW and the higher divisions.

Maybe in 2013. Those guys were on their way out when Jones fought them in the first place. You can't hold the fact that LHW had a division with vets in it against WSW for being young. That's pointless.

Good fight. Krylov and Cirkunov both looked good. Excited to see both of them going forward. Exactly what LHW needed.

What do you do with Cirkunov now? Give him a top 5 LHW or another top 10er?

That's not my point. My point is that they're technically superior to a lot of the girls JJ is facing, as well as have more power and can end the fight at any moment.

Evans can't get a medical clearance. Fat Rampage is getting gift decisions against Asian whos in Bellator. Lyoto won't be fighting again until 2018 at like 40. Wayyy more excited about WSW.

I'm not saying the division is more exciting lol. I'm just saying JJ's streak as a dominant champion gets a little too much credibility. f--- it tho... Let's enjoy the fights.
