I feel like you're pretty young so I'll give some proper advice: Don't say anything. There's no need to explain what you said. Give this girl the time of day if she asks for it (e.g. don't ignore her or anything) but don't go out of your way to speak to her or get to know her any more. She knows you like her. She's probably not that into you (judging from her initial reaction). If she ever wants to take things further it's on her now.

You've done nothing wrong so you've got nothing to apologise for. Just take it in your stride buddy. It might seem like a big deal now but it really, really isn't lol. Trust me. (and everyone else in this thread who isn't 12)
