RTJ 2 is objectively AOTY. I listen and like Under Pressure, but combining his top 5 rappers atm (Kendrick, Drake, Cole, Kanye, and himself...) isn't any way to create his own sound. There is inspiration and then biting. Unfortunately Logic bites more than he creates

He hasn't got his own style, he isn't original, that's what it comes down to. Heck.. rhymes aside, even that whole 'come up' style backstory he gave all his mixtapes were Cole inspired. The 2nd part of the title track 'Under Pressure' was cringeworthy and a total GKMC rip off.

Cringeworthy? lmao s--- is probably SOTY 2014 or at less Top 5, just because the track use the same concept doesn't mean is a rip off, would be cringeworthy if it was fake but the calls where real. Kendrick stans should be happy that somebody is getting inspiration from him and using that type of narrative to leave to other rappers tell their stories for the world.

And of course don't get me wrong GKMC > Under Pressure even Logic knows that but people should stop comparing him with other rappers and just enjoy the d--- music. Tracks like Metropolis, Nikki, Growing Pains III, g--- Related and of course Under Pressure are really really great songs. Best thing i can say of the album is that it doesn't have like a bad song or a cringeworthy pun, you can see Logic put work on the record.

Indeed, Under Pressure was a great track, however.. it was ruined by the Kendrick karaoke in the extended album version; there is a difference between being inspired by someone and biting their style. It's actually the 2nd most cringeworthy thing on the album tbf, the hype before Nikki and then the big reveal to be just about cigarettes 'lmao' was no1.

d---, Kendrick karaoke? What is that? I hear the full version and besides the concept there is nothing similar to Kendrick. In fact, i don't know why people get angry with Under Pressure but not with Metropolis that actually sampled the beat lol

Yeah, i get that. But for me he is not bitting him. I think Logic found the way he wanted to sound with this album. I would love to see more tracks with a Jazz or "chill" vibe like the ones Under Pressure got.

And about Nikki, yeah i thinked also that it was pretty obvious that he was talking about Nicotine, but there was some people that didn't realize that until that part.

Man, you know this all love, for that i think you should check again the album. Logic is underrated in this forum. People forget the fact that this guy killed the BET Cypher 2014.

Most places I've been online, Logic hasn't been highly rated, it's not as if this forum (from what I've seen) is a complete anomaly in that sense. Logic just isn't original enough and his music doesn't go beyond what we've heard before. The other thing I don't like about the album is how he 'cheaped out' on the production costs by keeping it in-house, 6ix is such a vanilla beat maker, not everyone can do what TDE do and get away with it.
