Jan 5, 2016 I think Bad Guy is an overall meh song. The last verse is some of his best lines, in terms of reflection, but it's not worth going through the chore of listening to the parts before it. I simply find it boring. I don't think his hook on 'Talk to Me' is all that great, because he takes the vocals to a high pitched, almost screeching level. It just isn't pleasing to my ears. I find Relapse to be a more enjoyable listen than MMLP 2. I think SSLP has the overall highest quality and consistency. My Fault being the only song I might feel the urge to skip.
Jan 22, 2016 I kinda like the beat, The raw emotion in that verse though is f---ing amazing. It's like Recovery era Em at his best Haters
Jan 22, 2016 Not just because of the s--- production. Also, nobody would love to hear that type of inspirational type of track by Em as a tribute to Proof. It sucks for what it is.
Jan 22, 2016 Raw emotion ? He shouts with the similar tone on an inspirational beat. Where is the f---in' emotion in this at all...
Jan 22, 2016 I think it's weird how he hides at home everyday. He never goes anywhere. You will never see this guy on tv or anywhere at any event
Jan 22, 2016 That's what I'm tryin' to say. He says but he doesn't make me or the listener feel. U know why some songs are flawless ? Because with both beat and delivery it fits the theme of the song perfectly. You're Never Over beat sounds like Em is saying some ordinary inspirational s--- and also the way he delivers the lines are lacks emotion, I agree the lyrics are full of emotion but that can't save the song from being bad.
