    Also Drake didn't have to tip toe around Big Sean's name to hype the record up. Same s--- Cole did went he went at Kanye before 4YEO.

    What were ppl talking about when those records dropped? All the subs at Sean. Obviously he was gonna sell high regardless but hard to deny the intent.

    Nah it was everywhere on twitter too, the point is it started additional convo on top of the tracks being good.

    Im not knocking him for it either, just trying to point out the contrast in how each of these guys promoted or didnt promote their records.

    Kendrick Lamar will not only best Drake's first-week total for the top debut of the year—he'll do it by a substantial margin.

    d---. will surpass 300 million streams; it's only the second title to do so in a single week. The first, of course, was Drake's More Life with 385 million streams in the week ending 3/23/17. With album sales projecting to 325k (100k more than More Life), our SPS projection is now 550k, giving Kendrick, Top Dawg's TDE crew and Team Interscope the year's top debut by a decisive margin.

    Combined album and track sales for d---. will make up more than 60% of the first-week total. More Life's sales represented less than 50% of its first week.

    he also shat on Cole pure sales.

    We are not getting upset. Drake fans getting defensive for no reason, if adele had the biggest debut this year, outlets and fans would be comparing kenny sales to her..its just happened that drake is the biggest debut this year

    We didnt go outta our way to mention him, this is as natural as it gets

    Right, I was just trying to put into context how each of them rolled the projects out. They're gonna be compared in everything they do til the end of time.

    End of the day we're all winning cause they both topped their last projects.
