Maybe now after his biggest ever solo flop he will actually start working with hip hop artists again. The Trump diss backfired big time in the USA and why it sold so badly! Just proves how many fans he really lost dissing the president.
Dec 19, 2017 Why?The Trump diss backfired and lost Em so many fans in the USA! It sold 120k in the UK alone yet only 200k in America? Worst decision of his career going after Trump. This album has ruined his career, 8 features and 7 of those pop artists? He deserves this humiliation!
Dec 19, 2017 none of the things you said makes it a bad album. yeah the trump thing we knew from the start that would have an impact. those 7 pop features did great. not even half poppy and generic as recovery or mmlp2 features. they just released an album with no hit single and not even a vid. thats why i say who cares about sales. i love that album more and more thats all i know.

Dec 19, 2017 Never thought I'd see this level of sales for Eminem. Pretty shocking, tbh. But... Yes he deserves this. I'm really glad. Relapse sales and feedback made him switch from authentic music to pandering... Maybe this s--- will make him switch back and we can get a 4th classic before he retires. Because he is incapable of making another one if he continues to try and appease people, second-guess himself; buck on trends and formats and compromise his albums. This is good. Because if he sold like 700k... Regardless of mixed reception; I think Paul would just be like 'look Em, people love it!', Em would know the sales and see people in stadiums singing the s--- and think it's the way to go and probably make more Revivals. Recovery only had MARGINALLY better critical feedback than Relapse and yet he seems to look at it as a win... Because of sales. I wouldn't say that many of his core audience were feeling it more than Relapse either, it's pretty split for both of those albums. So clearly sales is what he thinks determines the quality now.

Dec 19, 2017 What did u all expect?This album launched with not a single video or huge number 1 hit! It was inevitable without those 2 plus no Rihanna and the sales would be so low! If River was the first single along with a video then yes it would have done around 650-700k first week. With the Trump diss,no video and no number 1 smash are you all really surprised this album has flopped? J Cole doing 600k with no features prove if u release good music people will buy it! This is what Em needed maybe now he will work with more hip hop artists, fire the prick Paul and stop working with Rick Rubin and go back to Dre. I hope someone also disses him then just maybe Em will come back next album with pure fire. No way he retires with this huge flop!
