    Yeah, you only need a passport. A passport is a form of identification. If she was traveling out of the country, no reason to bring her drivers license.

    People are saying you only need passport? Ive never gone anywhere besides like canada when i was a baby so i have no clue how any of that works, if anyone could shed any light.

    Nah, you can purchase an automatic firearm legally in certain states — it just has to be an older model. I think the rule is the gun has to be manufactured before 1986 or something. For the most part, automatic weapons are banned though. The guy could have also bought it as a semi-auto & converted it to automatic. Not hard to do if you know the right people & frequent gun shows.

    And I'm completely ok with people owning a pistol or something at home for protection. But you don't need a f---ing death machine that can fire off hundreds of rounds if someone breaks into your house.

    You’d have thought Columbine & Sandy Hook etc would’ve at least initiated some sort of change in the laws for the better

    It would take a while to impose properly, but needless to say it’d be worth it. One look at the stats and you can see where the problem lies

    Im saying its so common that in all honesty this will blow over in a week.. the fact a bunch of elementary schoolers got killed and nothing has happened 5 YEARS LATER will tell you nothing will happen.

    Yet i HOPE some change should occur. Im not saying the congress job is easy, but at least make a f---ing plan.
