Don't think it's correct but who knows, campus is on lockdown right now so we won't know anything until more is investigated. Seen a woman say her husband's supervisor where they work at USC said someone was shot though.

This. Majority of people I know freak out over any mention of any kind of gun control. It'll never happen in the states.

However, obviously I agree people who have severe mental problems should not be allowed to own firearms. I just think it won't happen because that's the start of taking away gun rights and you get an anti gun president back in he'll keep trying to manipulate gun control laws so I don't see any ever happening in the first place.

Idk how some of you are that uneducated thinking something narrow minded as "ban" guns is going to stop this s--- from happening. How about when alcohol was banned? Heroin turning illegal 70 years ago? As long as there is demand there will always be those who will supply. I just don't think some of you get it.

I’m a gun enthusiast and I will tell you why we fight for gun control so hard and that is because the libs won’t just stop at one thing even if it is mutually agreed upon. It’s like a fat person and pizza, you can’t just have one slice.

Next thing you want stricter bullet control, number of firearms purchased, gun accessory control, magazine capacity, etc etc. the list will go on, like in CA where you regulated guns having magazine release buttons.

Honestly I’m all for restricting sales to mentally ill people who decides if they are mentally ill and to what extent? A person’s doctor, government, medication they are taking? I take ADD meds so does that mean I am mentally ill and shouldn’t own a gun? I would be for restricting sales to anyone on the no fly list, but who decides who goes on the list and for what reasons? The government already made it so that if you listen to some s--- rap group you are offically a g--- member, so why would I trust the gov’t to do this fairly? I would also be for first time owners having to take a safety course just like first time hunters. I would also be for stricter punishments as in perhaps mandatory 5 years in prison for being in possession of illegally obtained firearm.

But here’s the reason I would never vote for any of it....because like I said, they can’t just stop at one slice. For example Vegas gunman clearly used automatic guns which have been illegal in the country if produced post 1986 and you must get form 3 liscense if Weapon made prior (which takes around a year to get, as I am currently waiting on ATF regulated item, also you need more than 10k to find/purchase pre-86 machine gun). So then this happens, bodies to warm and still in surgery and you get dumb s--- Hilary crying out for suppressor ban. Something that had absolutely nothing to do with this event whatsoever and had it been involved, it would have made the shooter less effective not more. So she can’t talk s--- about machine guns as they’re already illegal so let’s move onto the next thing on her list.

It's a theory, you're telling me what people are going to do once you fix a problem america currently has. That's just idiotic, solve the problem, then worry about what other things they view as problems later. If you both agree its a problem, solve it.

i find it funny when gun ppl act like taking away their guns is like taking away their children. When this action will actually probably save their children
