Good video from John Oliver explaining how the NRA prevents any type of gun legislation from passing in the U.S. The CDC can’t even study gun violence/come up with solutions for it because congress has prevented them from being able to do that.

Saw some new interesting pieces of info about the shooter, this was from an article on yahoo.

-He gambled for 8 hours straight the night before the massacre.
-There's evidence he planned to escape, they didn't say what the evidence was.
-He's been stockpiling guns since 1982 and bought 33 in the past year. Letting one person buy 33 guns in a year is completely insane and needs to be changed.
-They think he may have visited several music festivals in the Vegas area.
-They said there are indications that he may have had some sort of help, no idea if they mean in the shooting itself or the planning.
-He checked into the hotel sept 28, brought 10 bags and at least 23 guns.

I'm 7-0 in bar fights. I would only use a gun as a last resort. I would only pull my gun out if I felt my life was in danger.

I will admit there are those types of rednecks that are too p---- to fight and look for any reason to threaten to use their gun.

Why you alway hurting my feelings? I rarely drink anymore so i don't go to bars near as often. Used to get too drunk and run my mouth a little though when I was younger and more hot headed.

I think he may have had help too. One guy accurately shooting that many people is a professional job. It doesn't add up. I doubt they would state he had help until they catch the other people and want them to think they're not looking for anyone else.

A girl at the concert said a half hour before the shooting a lady said you're all going to die tonight.

He wasn't shooting accurately...he was shooting at a crowd of 22,000 people. He was just spraying the area randomly with automatic fire.

While you have never had an issue in your life, I had two friends that weren’t so lucky. And I would never consider selling anyone of my many firearms, many of which are from the civil war/WW1/WW2....

While I may never need it, I’m not willing to take that chance.

Stephen Paddock got a guaranteed room with a view that overlooked the Lollapalooza festival because he was aggressive and demanding with the hotel manager ... TMZ has learned.

TMZ broke the story ... Paddock booked 2 rooms at the Blackstone Hotel for early August that coincided with the music festival. He booked the rooms through Expedia, and requested rooms with a view of Grant Park, but he couldn't get a guarantee.

As we reported, Paddock then called the hotel and someone entered a note in the computer that his view room was guaranteed ... despite the fact that's against hotel policy.

Now we've learned how Paddock got the guarantee. He got a manager on the phone and was aggressive, saying he needed the view because he and his wife met at Lollapalooza years back and this was an anniversary trip. Our sources say Paddock was "forceful" on the phone, and it worked.

Our sources say the hotel's general manager is downloading law enforcement on the bookings and conversations.

Paddock never showed up for the event that was held 2 months before the Vegas massacre.

Since 1982?? For being such a supposed “gun nut” dude wasn’t a member of NRA, Democrat, and he didn’t have the vertical foregrips located on the right location of his rifles...using holographic sights from 500 yards away, high elevation, with windage....wears gloves possibly for the guns overheating but penny loafers with you ankles exposed?? If he was planning to escape or worried about hot guns, wouldn’t he think of hot brass shell casings hitting his feet? I mean if I knew s--- was about to go down, I don’t think wearing loafers would be my shoe of choice. There is so much s--- that doesn’t add up, it will be a very interesting next few weeks.
