Obviously it wouldnt have happened. Point is you should feel safe enough in a school, OR around cops, to speak up. She didnt do anything violent, and thats what keeps from having any sympathy for the cop.

i agree completely, as ive stated before i am not defendiing this ignorant police officer, but i will say he probably saved the kid more embarrassment by letting him have a tough guy moment instead of tasing him (probably causing him to piss himself) and then walk him out lmao

no, and i totally agree, but again she shouldve just gotten up and complied, he is indeed an officer of the law, correct? I do agree you should feel safe around cops, and i know thats not always the case IRL, but i promise you, from experience... if you comply, this type of thing doesnt happen, and thats where the partial blame on her and her parents fall into place.. her parents didnt teach her to comply with police? i learned that as early as 7.

nah, imo narsh has a good sense of whats right n whats wrong, i havent seen anything too trollish at all actually.

if i was in a CLASSROOM setting, and the "cop," who's also like the f---ing gym teacher or some bs, was asking me to leave and I felt like i had a point -- i wouldnt have moved immediately either. think of the CONTEXT man

it was all over chewing gum. and she was a new student to the school. and all she was doing was saying "i didnt do anythign wrong"

its not like its an encounter in the street over something serious.

aggressive police behavior is literally always the cops fault. theyre trained to not let a situation cloud their judgment. if it does, its their fault.

Have you ever thought about police as a force we use against criminals and for actual lifesaving / problemsolving instead of as a team of boogeymen who come and teach kids how to be obedient to a state and a society who have put them and their families to suffer for being different.

im treating him with respect, obviously (which she was doing until he put her in a chokehold) but i would want my point heard first.

regardless, both were handled the wrong way, and that is the cops fault, because they're in control. (atleast in these examples)

im not talking about a situation where a guy attacks a cop n he shoots him etc, thats different on many variables.

well yea, if the situation was different as so, i can see where youre coming from... but i was raised to keep my mouth shut and comply with cops

being raised in southwest detroit where bad s--- happens on the daily, its different for me.

but in this situation i honest to god, cant see how i wouldnt just get up, thats all.

If you are black you are likely to be ousted by a certain group of white people. I'm sure some of those members are in law enforcement.
