    This has me hyped for the album if it's true. I've felt Drake's been kind of on auto-pilot ever since NWTS, and IYRT (as much as I enjoy it) didn't really break away enough for me.

    I cant tell if its implying that the stuff on IYRT was a departure itself (because thats false) or if its quoting "No Tellin" to imply that Drake knows his next album needs to be different.

    But yeah that confuse aside, Im glad he's apparently going ahead with trying to "inspire a paradigm shift." But even though Ive been a vocal critic of his complacency, id rather him make what he's great at (even it starts to get old) than doing some corny b...not saying the work with Beyonce will be (but it might), or that inciting 808s & Heartbreak/Kanye isn't a good sign (it definitely is), but I feel like drake's not always great at filtering himself.

    like, drawing the line before a concept or sound gets to be too much. but if he shows restraint + a new sonic direction, color me hyped

    dont want him to just go solely one lane style wise though...i like his rapping lol

    idk he has a tough balancing act to pull off with every project he releases, so props to him if he can keep improving in that regard

    Well I always took this as him referring to VFT6, not the tape itself. (Much of that tape was recorded in early 2014):

    Yeah, I took the summer off to get it right
    Yeah, I gave these boys a shot and they f---in' failed
    n----s like "you took the summer off? we couldn't tell"

    Anyways let's see, but whether he succeeds or fails, I think he gets this whole "complacency" thing.

    I think he's got mad music done, but only 2 joints that he'll put on the album itself.

    Depending on which direction he goes, he could pump out like 6 tracks in one session :idk: I think it's more about finding a creative direction for this new album.

    :wow: I can feel that. Gohan turning into great fagayaman will signify Drake's transition later in his career to strictly R&B/Singing. It won't be bad, but, you know everyone will call him gay :idk:
