    if you're gonna make a bold statement like vince staples has made better songs than cartoons and cereal, m.a.a.d city, adhd, then it'd probably make sense to back it up...

    eh. cartoons and cereal definitely is--it's one of the best rap songs this decade. a good number of vince's are in the mix with kendrick's best work. they're both superlatively talented artists.

    Summertime is just ok, can't compare to the most acclaimed of our generation (TPA:emoji_sunglasses:

    They're not even in the same stratosphere

    funniest s--- is that i'm hardly even a staples fan... it's a warranted discussion. staples output has been much stronger than k.dot's and he's several years younger. both from la and project to be at the forefront of the genre for a while to come. not even to mention that if you enjoy one of them, it's foreseeable that you'll prob enjoy the other's music as well

    summertime 06 is nowhere near as good as s80 and s80 can't hold a candle against tpab.
