    That isn't what I was trying to say, my point was that to label a song as trash because it's self absorbed is overly focused on an aspect of the song where it does not excel (the penmanship). Hotline Bling has great qualities, and to write it off as trash for being self absorbed ignores all of them. I keep coming back to the hook because that's what sells the song. Self absorbed or not, that hook is pretty good.

    lol some of you get so mad at @WPG taste in music. Usually when I don't like people's taste in music I just silently disagree and go on with my day. There was a time WPG didn't even put biggie in his top 10 rappers! We all have different tastes and change our minds. Please don't let WPG ruin your holidays or you're really weird
