    People forget sometimes that he dropped a mixtape in spring as well which was good in my opinion.

    While he has ventured into Pop with Hotline Bling, he's still one of the biggest rappers right now (if he's the best rapper is a different question).

    tl;dr He belongs into the list. All of the contenders had kind of a great year tbh.

    I mean with Thug, you definitely need a certain type of openness to appreciate his music. It's abstract and it's not the traditional sound/rapping you hear from other hip-hop artists. With Drake, it's more of an image issue rather than a musical one. Drake's music is easily approachable/listenable if you're even semi familiar with hip-hop or R&B.

    Pretty sure nobody in this thread has yet to create a real argument of their own explaining why Kendrick > Future & Young Thug and why Future & Young Thug are garbage. And if someone has one, quote it here.
    Funny how y'all complain about Narsh dickriding Thugger when there is NOTHING you contribute to the discussion other than liking the posts attacking him and calling TPAB aoty and aotd. That's what i call dickriding.
