it's not just good, it's a masterpiece, quality wise.

Disappointing to you? Technically, its one of the greatest albums of the last 7-8 years and not just in hip hop.
Most enjoyable? That's definitely debatable. I don't think you understand that personal enjoyment isn't something you can add to a review and it isn't something that has anything to do with how "good" an album really is. Any musician (like me, but specially professional and goat musicians) have already aknowledged this album as a goat (due to its musical composition) and there's no coincidence if it's one of the highest rated albums of all time.

I don't like this term "objectivity" that some members like to throw but everything about music is not subjective and this album really is what it is being praised for... this is an outstanding album.

Also, I assume you're also talking about jcole.. just know that the overall sales (WORLDWIDE) of tpab & FHD are almost the same (despite fhd being released few months before)






but then again, sales don't mean s---, it was never about how good an album is.

Having one good project doesn't make you the artist of the year, so that eliminates Staples and Future. Drake has been everywhere, but has been extremely hit or miss. Young Thug put out a lot of music, but he's not a good rapper.

That leaves Kendrick who not only has the best album this year, but has had incredible guest verses on Dr Dre's and Jay Rock's album, in both cases, greatly improving the bodies of work. He's easily been the most praised rapper this year, and his awesome live performances are just the cherry on top.
