Dec 26, 2015 Thanks bro, my bad for overlooking that post. In my honest opinion you overrate Young Thug soo much. Future doesn't even have a 9/10 project from this run, let alone Young Thug. 9/10 = GKMC for scale. Summertime 06 is probably around that mark too (just under).
Dec 26, 2015 uhh how is going from 8.5 (which is like the pitchfork rating for b6) to 9.0 overrating Thug "sooo much." It's just how good I think that single project is. WPG had BOTH SS's above ALL of future's projects. I didnt do that did I? I know future doesn't have a 9.0 project. Because none of his efforts are as cohesive as B6 while still maintaining poignant emotional arcs. 56 nights is too one note. Monster is too crowded. BM is the closest, but its really fleeting as a whole. B6 is none of that, it's better. you have an entire review full of justification for B6 by me if you want to rebut any specifics instead of just generalizing. saying I overrate thug is not only the easiest copout, its a bit insulting.

Why do you always go back to that when justifying your score? By that logic B6 is only better than IYRT by a hair. And it's much worse than TPAB. None of the above is true. I don't want to get lost in how good an album is out of 10 though, these numbers are arbitrary.

Dec 26, 2015 it is indeed the consensus AOTY as far as quality goes but 9.7/10 would be more objective as I don't think "perfection" exists in music.
