Nov 10, 2017 He's got some really awkard pauses in his flow recently. Like mid sentence, so make odd thymes connect. It sounds awkward.... Anyhow, now we know why he waited for 4 years lol . Sxn 80 stripped him of his confidence, haha. Songs ok, at least he's got perspective on his downfalls.
Nov 10, 2017 I don't f---ing care about pauses or flow or beat right now, but this song felt like a personal message to me. I f---ing loved it. You guys were looking for flaws, you got 'em. With other expectations this sonds f---ing beautiful.
Nov 10, 2017 lmaoooo nah what i said to andy was, basically, this: - i don't think it's a particularly good song--it barely functions as a song, more like an open letter--but it shows a lot of clarity of thought on his part. talks about insane expectations we put on artists, esp famous artists, but also grapples with the fact that he can't quite recapture what he wants to. it's very astute in that sense. - i can't get over how stilted and awkward the voice and flow are; he's been rapping professionally for two decades, why can't he sound natural anymore? makes it hard to listen to - it absolutely has to be either the intro or a bonus track. you can't slot this in anywhere else. the other things i would note are that, first of all, @Swizz and i will be spending our royalties from this song at the gucci store. second, it strikes me that every eminem album since the year obama was elected has introduced itself by apologizing for the previous album.

Nov 10, 2017 the song isnt great but I kinda feel bad for the man, he clearly read all the s--- we said about him on this forum and that has gotten to him. like someone else said we kind of have broken him. sounds depressed. also looks like my theory is kinda right, they chose this sort of promo cause the album doesnt have any real singles..(similar to 444).
