Nov 10, 2017 its honest as f--- and nothing like i expected but its hard to get past that voice, this is the worst he's sounded in his career imo.. not a fan of the flow either although it does pick up in parts of the song I rate it 7/10. Better than the uninspired trash on MMLP2. This is at least real, you can hear it
Nov 10, 2017 it's so awkward! i can't listen to it without breaking out in hives!!! destiny child bey >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Nov 10, 2017 This is why I asked you. You are pretty much the same as wpg except for the condescending and i hate eminem part. Glad ti see you appreciate it and I already said similar things you said. Nitpicking is not needed here it feels like an intro.. the voice and flow fits the song perfectly. But yeah how will the album sound
Nov 10, 2017 dude I was gonna say...call me a hater but, 1999 Bey>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>2017 Bey. She can't walk on water or ride a beat smh
Nov 10, 2017 Everyone’s a f---ing expert. Shouldn’t have had Beyonce on it, should have had a beat, shouldn’t have been a single, shouldn’t this, shouldn’t that. It’s exhausting
Nov 10, 2017 Dope. Amazing album intro, if it is. 8/10. Production was perfect - vocals loud, crisp, clear. Track doesn't feel formatted, even though Beyonce is on it - the track feels like it was made for this content, not a copy paste template. And even the little scribbling s--- and short first verse... these little moments of Em abandoning perfectly rigid song format he always sticks to feels refreshing. It's what others - Kanye, Kendrick etc. have been doing for a while and he hasn't. He almost always just is INTRO... VERSE 1 hook VERSE 2 hook etc. and it feels tired. What I want is a really well thought out album, where the songs are pieces to a puzzle, not just totally individual jarring pieces of their own. This feels like a small piece to a big puzzle and a great sign of things to come. Also his writing is great here. Will be overlooked due to the content being the focus, but will be more lasting due to that.
Nov 10, 2017 This isnt a song. Its like bad spoken word poetry. The end is random as f--- and sounds like a lead in to another s-----y yelling track.
Nov 10, 2017 flow & delivery very awkward. beyonce hook is so forced. but writing is def among the best since his comeback. good to hear him be candid & personal again & actually rap about something thats on his mind rather than empty shouting, him flexing his skillz, or rapping about some bs made up girlfriend this a 7 for me
Nov 10, 2017 The flow may not be as smooth as it used to be but It’s definitely the right direction.. You can actually understand wtf he’s saying on first listen for once! He’s not goin a million miles an hour tryin to prove he can “rap”.. It’s like he’s just talking again and that’s when he was at his best.. It just isn’t quite as smooth yet.. Have a great feeling about this album.. Enjoyed the single
Nov 10, 2017 You either like the song or you don’t, end of. Trying to tell everyone what he should of done is r-----ed and is exactly what the song is about. Poor bloke has no chance of being appreciated, everyone wants something different from the guy
Nov 10, 2017 Im shocked people are hating so much on this. Is it his best song ever? h--- f---ing no. Its not even a great song. But have you ever heard Not Afraid or We Made You. Its introspective and i love the emotion. I think he could still flow like TES show but I believe his rhyming has become somewhat of an obsession/mental disorder. He tries to make these bars like puzzle pieces and it makes the flow choppy. He cant write uncomplicated anymore.
Nov 11, 2017 Aka he sucks. Old Eminem could do it all... At a very high level. This Eminem is a human dictionary still but he's totally lost in terms of music. Snap poetry seems to be a better option for someone obsessed with acapella s-----y spaz verses. 1999 Eminem would 110% call modern Eminem a clown.
