Growing up, I didn't watch WWE and the only time I did was at friends' houses. That said I do remember a few wrestlers but I haven't watched a single episode in over 10 years so I have no idea what's happened.

Anyway I have Hulu and I learned it's got Monday Night Raw and Smackdown. I really want to get into wrestling but I have no idea whatsoever on how to get started. Do I watch both Raw and Smackdown? Do I have to go all the way to Jan 2016 to get an idea of what's going on?

    Help a brother out :)

They just did another brand split and this week was the first week of it. So you can start just by watching this week's Raw and Smackdown and technically be caught up, as it's pretty much all new storylines

They recap previous stuff a lot anyways so I wouldn't worry about catching up cuz they'll do that for ya just by watching the show.

Hard to say which show you'd like more, I'd just give em both a shot and go from there.

You're in luck. A supposed complete change of direction and product started last week, so I would start by watching last weeks Raw and Smackdown.

You literally chose the best time to want to get back into wwe.

So much potential right now. :whew:

Like everyone else said, start with last week's episode of both shows.

I used to watch during the Attitude era. I remember when Smackdown was a one night special at first and then because it was successful, they made it into a regular show. The Rock, Stone Cold, Mankind, DX, Undertaker, Nation of Domination, Dudley Boyz, Ken Shamrock, etc. Great times. I don't know about this era with all of this PG s---. The promo game is seriously lacking.

@Yeezus if you find yourself very interested in the current product and want more, this time period was when the company was at it's absolute peak and had the most big names and best stories so you should definitely revisit it and educate yourself
