May 21, 2016 It goes without saying that he's been a tremendous influence. Incredibly absurd to even assume otherwise.
May 21, 2016 yes. dude brought us 50 cent. dude is biggest rapper in history. thats like asking "is elvis important for rock n roll?"
May 21, 2016 That's a nice line to make you seem knowledgable but it's not true. Em took hip hop to the masses like no one else .
May 22, 2016 Yes of course he was important. The main thing he did was, he made hiphop bigger and more popular all over the world, many people started off as eminemfans and because of him became fans of hiphop in general. I also believe alot of rappers and even other artists was inspired by him in his prime.
May 22, 2016 Musically? I don't see a big difference. However, he brought in a s--- ton of fans. Most fans of hip hop from RB, SL and this site came from being a fan of Eminem first, but most of them branched out into other areas of hip hop and realized there are much better artists than him.
May 22, 2016 You see, its fine to have your opinion. But if you really want to compare Ask your favorite rapper if he thinks he's better than Eminem. And make him say it on TV too
May 22, 2016 Someone tell me the history of hip hop without mentioning Eminem. He is very important to hip hop.
May 22, 2016 50 was pretty much blackballed after columbia, no one wanted to touch him because of his rep and had to record in canada. He was just putting out mixtapes not sure why people think he had tons of offers
