Sep 26, 2017 On topic I had plans to go to medical school I did well on the gamsat but due to finances and certain circumstances I can't help, there's no way I'll be able to do it unless I come across a whole bunch of money that would allow me to study full time for over half a decade without working. It is just unrealistic and I'm getting old. So instead I'll soon be doing an apprenticeship for heavy diesel engineering. My dreams of med school along with my will to live are fading away with the stench of diesel in some Mad Max scenery in the mines of outback Australia. The only thing I have to look forward to is the decent pay to buy things I don't need to vainly try to cocoon myself from the deep, dark, cold pointlessness of this life. I can already see myself drinking the pain in the middle of the night on top of a truck feeling sorry for myself
