Jul 6, 2016 played the ps2 version, the mechanics were good, but it lacks the map exploration and discovery factors that pro skater had. I was gonna list out smash and mario 64 here as my favorites, but didnt want to sound like a fanboy. Jul 6, 2016 I'm 22 so I grew up with N64 it's not even nostalgia tho. For all the amazing graphics that we've got now I certainly feel like it's compromised stories and general adventure. The old games just felt like they were deeper and had a fuckload more replay value. A lot of games in a series these days to me feel like episodes of a TV season. People play em and they're done with it in a week then rely on online (which I've never really been into) to try and extract some replay value out of it. Whereas older games just felt like so much more

Jul 6, 2016 Nintendo still make good games though Outside of the s--- console making. Smash and MK8 have been great. Those 2 games alone have drained thousands of hours of my time. I have a pokken tournament demo and thinking of buying the full game. The mechanics are the best ive ever felt in a fighting game. Nintendo might be s--- at making hardware But the games are still goat man, yall sleeping on the wii u.

Jul 7, 2016 Well yeah, I'd expect people to think it's good cause it is. But acting like it's goty when it's not even close? Please. People talk it up like it's revolutionary, when you could day it's a literal copy+paste of the latest tomb raider games -arcade style jumping/navigation and + def-not-zombies created by fungus. If you like the game that's completely fine, but for someone to say it's goty for any year is absurd when it's so one dimensional
