Serious What's Your Take on Religion?

    Was raised irish catholic by protestant hating micks, catholic school jk through grade 12 then disillusioned turned to islam at 17 and at 23 saw the light that its all the same s--- now i live debating it with people because i just enjoy good debate but mostly my only thought when its brought up, or when someone tells me my aunts in a better place, is yuck :blunt:

    I was like this for a very long time. My mom forced me to walk the line the way she wanted me to and I hated her and religion for a long time. I went back and forth between believing and denouncing for many years. My quality of life never really went anywhere positive until I came to the realization that it was stupid to be angry at something that I didn't think existed and that in order for me to be angry at somethin g it had to exist on some level. I decided that when I was ready I would pursue God on my terms and I found a really nice church that for the most part I vibe with really well. it is what it is though. As long as you're happy and not going all jihadist or extreme in your beliefs I honestly am ok with either side of the spectrum

    I believe in God, and believe Jesus Christ died for our Sins.. I believe in a lot of what the bible says, these days people scoff at the concept of religion, but I still maintain my faith, regardless of naysayers and bull crap I've been through in my life. If he doesn't exist, I'll find out when I die. I never shove my beliefs down any one's throats though, if you believe in the lord.. that's great, if you don't.. that's great too, whatever helps you continue living in these hard times, keep doing it.

    When it comes to religion for me, I think everyone should take time to understand at least the basis of different religions. I grew up with a lot of friends and family that had different religious beliefs, and I made it a priority to take some time to understand why they chose some beliefs over others.

    Whatever you want. It's not for me to choose for you. I can say I've learned something from different religious beliefs and made my own belief from them.
