Everyone has the right to believe in what they want. I have nothing against someone praying at night or believing in some higher power.

The problem with religion is people living their life by some stupid rules and trying to force their s--- on everyone else.

You're allowed to believe in anything you want, just don't bring that s--- in your daily life and impose it on others.

Most people I know who claim they're religious are hypocrites. They pick and choose which rules to follow. They'll b---- about gay marriage but cheat on their wives, I have Muslim friends who claim to be religious but they drink or eat bacon. Everyone seems to bend their religions to be on par with their own beliefs.

It's with both tbh. I was raised Catholic and was confirmed. It's all a bunch of made up bs and I can't understand how people believe any of it, I've never met someone who followed their religion fully without breaking some of it's rules....but to each their own

Are your friends European Muslims or middle eastern ones? In Albania the majority are statistically Muslim and would say they are Muslim but 99% of them would get offended if you don't offer them whiskey and pork when they visit and they wouldn't know the first thing the Koran if you asked them. The same goes for the Christians

I think a lot of the non-Arab Muslims in Eastern Europe and the Caucus area view religion as some kind of subsect of society or race, not a belief or way of life

It's common in Albania if someone has say, a Muslim father and a Christian mother to say they're half Muslim half Christian if you ask them but in reality most former communist states are atheist as f---. None of this edgy proud pretentious new age atheism rising in the West lately, just pure atheism to the bone that they'll laugh in your face if you try have a reasonable religious debate with them
