Jul 27, 2016 I went to see American Sniper when it came out, the theatre was packed and this dude was acting like a jackass. He was only a few rows up but with all the people there, I figured someone would have said something. No one did and I got fed up. I normally smoke before I go to the movies, that always makes it better. I've gone drunk a few times but I normally end up getting antsy and wanting to leave. I don't know why it's so hard for people to conduct themselves in a quiet manner at the movies, it's not that hard and people are paying to sit with your dumbass to watch a movie so the least you can do is sit there and be quiet.
Jul 27, 2016 Yeah I love smoking before a movie, reminds of this one time though my best friend, his girl, and me sparked a blunt in the movie theater parking lot at night and baked out his car before our movie started, had 2 cops sneak up on us and knock on the car window, when we rolled down the window a huge cloud of smoke just starting pouring out. Cops were d----s though and wrote all three of us a ticket for possession after all he found was a roach literally the size of your pinky nail.
Jul 27, 2016 Iron Man 3 with some chick. She was eating kale, drinking tea and talking through the whole thing. Granted Iron Man 3 s----d, I still wanted to hear the flick. Also, her breath reeked of weed and kale.

Jul 27, 2016 Nothing too awful I guess but I get annoyed on a fairly regular basis sitting by people who can't stfu. This one time I had the perfect spot in the middle of a fancier than usual theater with better sound and a bigger screen. The theater wasn't even that packed so I figured I'd be good then about 5 mins after the movie starts this group comes in and is talking like crazy for a minute or 2, I figure oh well they're just getting settled in they'll shut up soon. But nope they keep talking and it wasn't even whispering or anything. I eventually move out of my awesome middle seat and go to like the 2nd row on the side just so I can hear the d--- movie.
Jul 31, 2016 I feel out of place in this thread. I was thoroughly disappointed by The Half Blood Prince, Spider Man 3 and recently TMNT. That's all I got.
Aug 1, 2016 I hate movie theatres, everytime I go I want to smack some heads. I go to the local drive in theatre with my girl all the time now. sit in the car, smoke a joint and watch the movie in peace.
Aug 1, 2016 Aside from my previous story....one thing I dislike and notice is I ALWAYS have someone come and sit directly behind me when it's not a packed theatre. Like open as h---, plenty of room and someone sits right behind me. Not 1 seat over....exactly behind me. My friends laugh when this happens because they know it peeves me lol. When I did see Concussion back in January some guy stood up when Will Smith was explaining the CTE part and yelled "bs, GOD BLESS THE NFL" and decided to walk out so that was neat.
Aug 1, 2016 I have nothing as bad as @Clive, but the time I saw American Gangster was fairly memorable. About halfway through, we suddenly heard this commotion coming from behind us and people were just rushing to the front exits. Unsure of exactly what was happening, my friends and I tried to do the same but the guy between us and the aisle was simply not budging. He simply sat back down and stated, "It's just some n----s throwing chairs, I paid for this movie." Given this man's absolute confidence in his assessment and the realization that most of the theater had left without a clear sign of danger or the sound of alarms, we too sat down and continued watching the movie. Slowly, people who had exited came back from the front and repopulated the theater and we made it to the end without any casualties. Afterwards, exiting through the lobby, we saw the aftermath of whatever the f--- happened...It was trashed with booster seats all over, garbage cans kicked over, etc. Over time, we imagined a whole history for this brave man...of him having matinees routinely ruined by people throwing booster seats.
