i don't think you know what a double album is m8

    and barring that

they're not even all that recent except except for like 2 of them
rjt doesn't count since both of them rap

metro x anyone doesn't f---ing count. they're not duos just because they drop a few projects together, otherwise he's a member of a s--- load of duos

Yeah, I know Florida, Georgia, and Texas, still have a huge USDM scene. Box chevy donks, and caddies on swangers. I'm just talking about the culture as a whole.

it's also like almost 4 years old dude

how you gonna say double albums are as big as ever and then use examples that aren't exactly recent or are double albums on a technicality at best

Can u expand on why tf ds2, cowys, s06 and FH aren’t recent double albums

There’s no reason for double albums to die out btw not that they were ever even a “trend” to die out in the first place it’s just a format of album

yah once rap got more mainstream and "middle america" and got the attention of the suburbanites, they started imposing their standards on rap music and rappers. Not saying it's right or wrong, but pretty much most things in rap that are un-PC or would be inappropriate to say in a regular convo are complained about now, even tho that used to be the point - it's rap, say whatever, be aggressive, be inappropriate, or not, be creative, tell your story.
