What's everyone's 2017 reading goals? I set mine for 25 books this year, after missing my goal of 20 the last 2 years.

So far I've read 3 this year. Just started the Dexter books so I've got lots of books lined up on my Goodreads to-read list.

Re-reading 1984. I read it in high school sophomore year and I remember enjoying it quite a bit so I decided to give it another read.

Stickying this thread so it's easier for us to find and since its been active since the forum opened.

Going camping at the Grand Canyon this weekend so I'm loading up with new Kindle books. I love reading in a tent at night. :)

Downloaded Nerve since the movie preview looked interesting, so I'll probably start that this weekend.

You're reading right now f--- boi

I'm reading A Man Lies Dreaming by Lavie Tidhar right now. Kinda an alt-history WWII noir type thing. I dig it so far.

Thinking about trading in my old Kindle Touch for the new white version of the Kindle Paperwhite. I need that built-in backlight and it's super slick looking. And only $80 after the trade-in :happypepe:

Ooh and hopefully Prime day next week will have a discount on it

I believe I read that book years ago, and I enjoyed it. Some chapters are really boring, but what book doesn't get boring at some point? Lol

The Shining, Cujo, Christine, Carrie, The Stand, etc. by Stephen King are pretty good if you're into that.

Thanks for bumping this thread @Kon

This year I've read a bunch (below). Just finished my last book a few days ago and haven't started another yet. I would recommend all these books:

I also started and gave up on one book - Stephen King's Cell. It was just boring and overly descriptive for what was basically a zombie book.

    That Lennon book sounds interesting!
I never knew the movie was based off a book :lmaooo:

I set my goals on reading 35 books this year, but I'm 10 books behind, not looking good.
