    you can honestly skip season 1 and go back to it later if you decide you like the show. And like @Sign Language said only watch the original 7 seasons.

    Been years since I've watched it but I loved it in college.

    S1 was so slow. So was S2 but my God does it heat up from there!

    I think for pretty much all sitcoms you gotta give em one season to get their chemistry and such down. Cuz I’d say on average most sitcoms first seasons (or at least the first handful of eps) are lackluster.

    Watched The Office again but ended it after Michael Scott's exit instead of drudging through the last two s--- seasons. Time to revisit TPB seasons 1-7.

    Have you tried Kim’s Convenience? Also Canadian, family based, has heart and character laughs

    Edit and yeah man I think her character grew the most throughout the series. Loved her and ted
    wish they figured it out. She could’ve gone to the Galapagos ffs smh

    Got any recommendations for a similar light sitcom?

    Loved Alexis too, they all had really good character archs especially for a sitcom.

    My gf made me watch Schitt’s Creek with her and we just got done with it and it was shockingly enjoyable

    space force is weird because carell and malkovitch are great in pretty much every scene of theirs but the directing and most of the other actors are just never funny
    i'm actually having trouble watching the ben schwartz and the tawny newsome scenes ; how can you act THIS bad???? where do these actors come from??? it's cringe-worthy at best, depressing at worst

    Finally watched The Office in it's entirety. Last two seasons were an absolute chore to sit through, although the finale was nice. Also, I didn't know that The Farm episode from season 9 was originally conceived as the pilot for a Dwight spin-off series.

    Recently finished:
    - The Witcher (strong 1st season, highly recommend)
    - You s02 (Great season, better than the first. Definitely check the show if you haven't)
    - Marianne (Great french series for horror fans. If you re a fan of hill house this is a treat for ya)
