(it's not a top-tier classic necessarily, but you can't ask for much more.) he also has a very good album and a bunch of guest spots and mixtape tracks that show he's both a great rapper and a compelling artist. but, like...do you realize how many truly great rappers there are? one classic and some impressive work isn't enough to bump off all but 24 people. that's preposterous. also, it ends up being a disservice to kendrick--this is a guy who, at a relatively young age, has a very impressive resume and is probably one of the 80-85 best rappers ever. that's amazing. insisting that he's vaulting over all these historically great artists actually weakens your argument.

Jun 20, 2015 i definitely wrote about kendrick on that tumblr but he is not and never has been in my top 30 rappers of all time. also, wayne was in the top 20, not near teh back end of the list.

Jun 20, 2015 One more classic then he'll definitely be up there as one of the greats. The way it looks now it's possible he might do it. I used to think he couldn't top GKMC. Now I say the same for TPAB. This dudes potential is exponential. I am blessed to witness a legend in the making grow into his prime.
