Feb 25, 2017 Nujabes - His music helped me find inner peace over the past few years and really opened the door for me to other similar artists and I'll be forever grateful. A shame I only got into his music after his death but his music has had a profound impact on me. Life just slows down when I listen to his stuff. More recently though Sampha's music has evoked a lot of introspection and emotions in me like no other album in recent times (well, aside from Blonde). The pain and sadness in his soft but husky voice just makes me want to hug someone dear to me. There's so much more I could write about literally dozens of artists but I figured I'd narrow it down to two, one that's influenced me greatly over a long period of time and one that has done so more recently.
