    That's good input. The ones I excluded were the ones I am less familiar with. I only know Wayne (and some less significant label mates) from Orleans. What are some good rappers to check out from that scene?

    Also, the Seattle rap scene must feel more impactful to me than it does on hip-hop because I'm from Seattle. I put it at the bottom of the barrel as a point that it's soooo f---ing tragic. They all try to tap into the liberal stream as if rap is for preaching politics to the choir. Grieves has good moments though.
