Apr 14, 2016 you being a kendrick fan doesn't make tpab any less great. its aint a good reasoning either. It's no different than people saying "I like artist X, but that album is not great". Tpab and gkmc are very different, so its easy to understand why they would both be considered as kendrick's best work for different reasons. It's almost the same for kanye, many of his fans have a different favorite album
Apr 14, 2016 see, I actually enjoy the music on tpab a lot more so I think its his best album, but I thought section 80 had the best rapping. s80 still my least favorite kendrick's album thoug, I definitely don't revisit it as much as gkmc

Apr 14, 2016 the crazy thing is I really enjoy kendrick too, but tpab and section 80 are like the only albums from kendrick I really enjoy. So just like you, I could easily say that gkmc is not as great as you want it to be, but I don't...maybe because I respect your opinion.

But some posts in this thread do make me understand why people think certain Kendrick fans are annoying even if they don't bother me. Don't need to add anything since narsh and boos already got that covered. I don't think tpab is bad, just find it boring and overhyped. I don't care about metascores or anything like that btw.
