Apr 14, 2016 i dunno... just wanted to annoy you or something. I don't actually like TPAB much. But some people just haven't practiced articulating their opinions on music as much as you. I don't think it's fair to always just invalidate their opinions. Some for sure are just part of the bandwagon ride but yeah. If you ask most people you see every day they won't be able to articulate exactly why they like the music they like. There's also just a certain language you have to be familiar with. And if it was at a party... that guy was probably drunk, right? lol Srsly tho Sing About Me is amazing. I'm maybe a little biased caused "lost youth" has been a reoccurring theme throughout my life but yeah... Song doesn't get the appreciation it deserves. I doubt I could write 600 words on it that would convince you why I love it so much tho. I just love everything about it... the concept.. his flow... the lyrics... the delivery... the beat. everything. Kendrick got a good heart
Apr 15, 2016 I've always liked section.80 more than GKMC but that's entirely based on personal preference. s80 got more intriguing to me with each listen whereas TPAB got less intriguing. It was easy to 'get' GKMC upon first listen but there's nothing really wrong with that because it executes a simple narrative very well.
